WICares: Inspiring the Next Generation with TOFTG

We are proud to partner with This One’s for the Gals (TOFTG) for this year’s WICares initiative. This incredible nonprofit works to introduce young girls to rewarding, non-traditional career paths, spanning fields from skilled trades to advanced STEM sectors, including manufacturing, energy, and maritime industries.

Bridging the gap between classrooms and real-world opportunities, TOFTG helps students envision exciting futures they might not otherwise discover. This workshop is your chance to step away from the traditional conference schedule, connect with fellow attendees over a shared purpose, and actively help shape the future workforce.

How it Works:

• Prepare Student Resources – We will be assembling special event gift bags that will be distributed directly to young women participating in TOFTG's upcoming educational programs.

• Share Words of Wisdom – Take a few moments to write personal, handwritten notes of encouragement. These letters serve as a powerful reminder to these students that a whole community of established professionals is cheering them on.

• Design Motivational Displays – Use your creativity to craft inspirational signs and posters. These visual reminders will be showcased at future student events to foster a sense of belonging and confidence for girls entering these industries.
